For almost half a century the distinctive white coaches of Hodsons Coaches have become a familiar site for many people across the Ribble Valley and Yorkshire. During this time we have built up an enviable coach reputation both locally and nationally by ensuring the passenger’s journey is as comfortable and trouble free as possible.
The coach firm began back in the sixties with Michaels Parents and one minibus from there farm in Paythorne. Since then the business grew and more vehicles were acquired and as a result the firm moved in 1972 to Deerpark Garage, Gisburn.
From there the business became a truly family affair when daughter in law Heather joined the firm.
Michael and Heather’s son Thomas and daughter Adele grew up with the coaches and joined the firm from very early ages! From then on the firm strengthened and strengthened.
In 1994 Michael bought the business from his father and the standards of the successful family run business have accelerated and proprietor Mr. Michael Hodson has moved the business forward into the future with the big move to Link 59 Business Park,Clitheroe in December 2004. The business can now truly expand and move on.
